Shelco was founded in 1978 in Winston-Salem, NC and has been headquartered in Charlotte, NC since 1990.
Under the leadership of President and CEO D. Edwin Rose it has become one of the largest locally-owned construction companies in the two Carolinas with 2011 revenues of $207 million. Company-wide employment totals 200 people.

LEED Certified
Shelco has LEED Accredited Professionals on staff to assist in achieving LEED Certification. Their responsibilities include registering the project for certification with the US Green Building Council (USBGC), participate in the selection of LEED credits to pursue, assist in tailoring green building technologies to the clients needs, analyzing cost and constructability issues associated with design decisions, and coordinate the necessary documentation and preparing of submittals. |
