BIM
Shelco has in-house staff dedicated to Building Information Modeling (BIM). Our BIM services will increase design accuracy which leads to other benefits such as digital design change management, mitigation risk through real time conflict detection, up-to-date and reliable information of the project design scope, cost information, schedules, Building Lifecycle Management, decreased construction costs and costs for quantity surveys. Our Building Information Modeling program is yet another tool in Shelco’s Preconstruction and Project Management process that helps “block” for our clients saving time and money.
Sustainable Construction
Shelco has LEED Accredited Professionals on staff to assist in achieving LEED Certification. Their responsibilities include registering the project for certification with the US Green Building Council (USGBC), participation in the selection of LEED credits to pursue, assistance in tailoring green building technologies to the client’s needs, analyzing cost and constructability issues associated with design decisions, and coordination of the necessary documentation and preparation of submittals.
Diversity Outreach
Shelco understands the importance of and promotes diversity on project pursuits. We have proven techniques in place for our outreach programs to secure consistent levels of participation for WMSBE/HUB Historically Underutilized Businesses.
